First things first...

This post is about all the firsts I've missed on during my time out and away...

First of all, I apologize to those of you who've been visiting, very often, in the past two weeks, and not finding any updates about Ignite Me, or even my life. (As if you were interested.)
I have mixed feeling about my time-off; because, as much as I needed it to refresh my perspective and have a change of skin from all the stressful events that had followed the release of Consume Me, I couldn't help my anxiety about the second and third book, or about the many, many ideas I'm excited to work on, in the near future.
Therefore, my vacation time turned out to be more about fictional characters, readers, and work, than it was about relaxing, partying, or enjoying a beautiful sunset on the beach.
I'm really not complaining, I haven't been this passionate about something, since my Barbie & Ken dollhouse, or later on, a Harry Potter release (Geek Alert). So I like feeling committed to something, and that's offering all my readers, a story they would enjoy, talk about, dream about, and fall in love with.

Now, to get back to those firsts I was talking about.
Ladies and Ladies, I'd like to announce that Ignite Me is three chapters away from its end, and that's the second end. I've written one before, but it didn't feel right. And in the light of this event, I'm listing an ARC for readers and volunteering reviewers, but I'll get back to that later.

I won't lie to you, as I already told you about the Yo-Yo effect, I was willing to stop writing, and get back to my classes and my old life. However, I have never, or will I ever be, a quitter. And all the thanks goes to all of you who supported me, even though I might have been undeserving, especially after being irresponsible with the editing. Also, there was one particular review from a reader who didn't like Consume Me, but managed to get me up and running again.

"Of course, as usual, I still have the up-most respect for the author. Not everyone has the determination to finish writing an entire book." Marielle (Goodreads Reviewer.

So there it is, Thank you Marielle for your honesty and your respect.  Sincerely Grateful, (R. F. Allie)

To the firsts again, I'm offering to all those of you who didn't like reading Consume Me because of the editing, a copy of the last edition. All you have to do is send an empty email, specifying whether you need it in MOBI. or ePub in the subject bar, and I'll send it to you. I won't ask for a proof of purchase, and I don't even mind giving up some copies for free, but I insist on giving new copies to those of you who purchased it from Amazon and didn't finish it or like it because of the editing, so I'm counting on your honesty.
The e-mail address for the requests is: rayna.aly@gmail.com.

For the second first, and I hope people won't see this as some kind of ultimatum, I've sworn to finish this series on my own, with the help of an editor at the end. I've never specified this before, but I wrote Consume Me on my own, no classes, no guidance. I did some research with a Law Student friend to learn about the jargon. I was inspired by friends and life events to write the beautiful friendships and still make them real. (Inspired, not based on.)

The cover? That is one of my best girls on the cover, she is beautiful in the simplest ways, and she has a unique personality. The photographer? Also a friend of mine; talented and with a  unique perspective. He actually refused to do any correction on the cover, and preferred it to be genuine. The setting? I won't tell you about it, to avoid getting some laughs, let's just say it's some place I'm extremely familiar with.(No, not my bedroom.)
Now I don't believe I made a perfect book, I'm not a native English speaker, nor a French one for that one, although I do have roots from my mother's side. But I challenged myself to do something I strongly believed in. Writing has been very fulfilling for me, and as long as I get even ten readers, I'll continue to deliver in the best way possible. (Better than the first edition of CM, I promise.)

Now Alicia, my editor, is so fond of Landon, Clea and Jude, that she insisted on carrying the work as an editor and pledged to not go on vacation, and to keep at least three copies of the work she does on every chapter. Yes, I'm still editing the book by Chapter and even per page, in the hopes of delivering something that would please each and every one of you.

So to get back to my non-ultimatum, I'm going to require some of you to do me a little favor in exchange for something that some of you might like.
Jenna, Jude and Ryan have been a great part of the Burning Desire series, people loved the bond, the relationship, and many people sent me messages requesting more of them. Since I already have my next story played out on my scrapbook, which I think would be a great story about two exceptional and unique individuals, I thought that while waiting for the third installment of the Burning Desire, I'd add a standalone novel about Jenna Seiter, Jude and Ryan, with a little insight into the story of Clea and Landon.
Does that seem like something you would like?
I really hope so, and therefore, I'm suggesting some kind of "Poll" to weight on whether I should start working on it or not.
How will it work?
It's simple, really, all you have to do is recommend the book to a friend of yours, let them borrow it from Amazon, Lend it from your Kindle, Get it on its last promotional day, or if they're willing, buy it. Then, I'd like to see all of you on Facebook. You can press like, share the page and recommend it for readers. I'll have the book up and running as soon as I get two hundreds likes, and a special kind of ARC for it.
If you're curious, please, don't let me hold you, let's meet on Facebook and share together.
If you think this to be somewhat 'Tacky' - with an accent - then feel free to just request your ARC of Ignite Me, and continue to visit and read my post.

I have no idea if this will appeal to any of you, but I'm eager to build a platform with my readers and share with no boundaries. I will never stop thanking you for your support, your messages, your reviews, and your time.

(I'm hesitant about whether I should delete the request or keep it.) Let's see how it works.

For my last first of the post,  I, Rayna F. Allie, hereby announce the listing of an Advanced Readers Copies for thirty readers, whether you're a recent reader or one of the firsts, no judgement, or selective choice, if you're eager to read Ignite Me, and willing to help edit it, or review it, as some of you suggested; all you have to do is send an e-mail to arcigniteme@gmail.com with the following information:

Name:

Country:
Favorite Genre:
Favorite Format: (Mobi. ePub):
Status: Review or Editing.

That is pretty much it for the ARCs, I'll have three friends pick ten readers/ each and will inform you of my choice via Facebook and E-mail.

I'm looking forward to this.

As per usual, I'll finish this post with my special thank you notes to every reader who took the time to write a review on Goodreads, Amazon, and Facebook:

I'll start with three amazing ladies who made me eager to do my best and filled my heart with joy and hope:

Beverly Vanetta Williams (Facebook): I have absolutely no words to describe what your post made me feel like, I'm thankful for readers like you, the ones who take the time and give us, Authors, something to be hopeful and happy about. I'm indebted to you and forever grateful.

Kimbj (Amazon): Your review, your kind words, and the way you defended me without knowing me, was heart warming. I was so touched that I couldn't help my tears. Thank you for your review, and I have one thing to say to you: After I consumed you, I cannot wait to Ignite You with an ARC.

Papatee (Amazon): Thank you for the love you showed towards Consume Me, and as you seem to have gotten the unedited version, please don't hesitate to send me an e-mail to get the new edition of the book. Thank you so much.

Julekat (Amazon): Thank you for your review, and thank you for loving the characters, despite the editing. Please, don't refrain from sending an e-mail to get a new copy.

Jigsawgirl (Amazon): Thank you for your feedback, it was extremely helpful for the editing. A new edition is available for you if you would like to give it another try.

Sandra (Amazon): I loved you review, it was very sincere and touching. Thank you.

Mizmo (Amazon): I cannot wait for you to read Ignite Me, so don't forget to apply for the Advanced Reader Copy

Iryna S (Amazon): I'm sorry you didn't like it, and thought it unoriginal or copied (It really isn't). I didn't make any assumptions about the French, it just became common for English speakers to have notions, and hoped it would bring some insight into the character's life as she used to live there. If you want to give it another try, don't hesitate, otherwise, thank you for reading and for your feedback, it pushed me to strive for better work.

Andrea (Amazon): I'm happy you enjoyed Consume Me, and apologize for the inconvenience the French brought to you. Don't forget the ARC :)

L Krohn (Amazon): I'm sorry the book didn't stand up to your standards, thank you for the feedback, I hope the price will suit you, or you can always request an ARC, or wait for a giveaway.

Hnracr8610 (Amazon): The music represent a big part of  my writing process, I'm glad you enjoyed it, and that we share the same taste, as I believe that music contributes to bringing people together. I can't wait for you to read Ignite Me and enjoy the new playlist.

Natalie SassyMissNat (Amazon): Thank you for your kind words, even though you weren't very convinced in the beginning, I can totally live with the book being called, Cute and Sexy. I hope you get to enjoy Ignite Me, as an early reader or later, as it suits you.

As I realized that this has been an incredibly long post, I'm inclined to stop here and thank the Goodreads reviewers directly on their posts. I realized that bad reviews have a lot more impact than the positive ones, because, I just found out that I had more people liking Consume Me than people hating it, or just hesitant about it.

Thank you for keeping on checking on my favorite fictional characters; they are very real to me, as they came to be my daily companions for the past year or so. I love each and every one of you, and I'm thankful for you reviews, your messages, your posts, and you friend requests on every platform.

All my love and respect,

Sincerely yours,
R. F. Allie.
